That's an interesting suggestion Alexis! I'm curious to know how else you could use that API, besides for debugging and error checking. (We're hoping for our platform to have 0 issues regarding import/export).

This would be helpful not only in case there are issues with OneSky, but also in case we have issues with our translators and developers. Often a user will report a problem with a phrase on our site or the mobile apps, and our support staff has to figure out if the string has been translated/mistranslated, or if there is another kind of problem that the translations team can fix.

Few people in our support and dev teams have access to our OneSky account, but if an API call were available for individual strings, I could make a diagnostic tool for them so that they could identify issues on their own.

It would also be great if we could get sets of phrases via API, without  having to get the whole set. For example, on pages that use a subset of our phrase pool, we could use the API to get a JSON slice of the whole set, cache it, and serve pages more quickly =)

Thank you for your response Alexis! We are interested in this potential new feature--we'd love to get on a call with you sometime to figure out more details. Stay tuned, someone from our product team will take this into consideration :)
